Football fans heading to the UEFA Euro 2024 games are being warned not to vape or bring e-liquids to the venue while attending fixtures in Germany, where both actively vaping and possession of e-liquids have been banned within stadiums hosting the games this year.
Fans heading to Germany for the tournament, which begins on Friday 14th June, are being reminded that behaviours they consider normal may result in police action following organisers releasing a full list of prohibited items that will apply to all stadiums.
Euro 2024 will be hosted across 10 stadiums in Germany, including the Olympiastadion in Berlin and the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg.
Searches are to be conducted before entry to the grounds, and those carrying prohibited items could face game-changing consequences.
Although it is legal to use e-cigarettes in Germany, smoking cessation experts at vape pod retailer Vape Club are reminding fans of the rules for Euro 2024, which will differ significantly inside the sporting venues.
Penalties for e-cigarette-related misdemeanours could result in individuals being removed from the premises, alongside a report to the police, or even a stadium ban for the entirety of Euro 2024.

- Drones
- Flags and banners bigger than 2m
- Food and drink, including fruit and water
- Smoking and vaping products
- Drugs and alcohol
- Weapons
- Laser pointers
- Whistles
- Megaphones
- Spray cans
- Glass and plastic bottles
- Backpacks and large bags, including suitcases

All liquids have been prohibited, including e-liquid for your vape, so football fans who use vaping products should make sure they fill up their vape before they leave the hotel and ensure they’re not carrying any prohibited items on game day.”
“Vaping within the stadiums is also prohibited, though some have a designated smoking area. This varies from venue to venue so check ahead of time, and don’t risk using your vape in non-designated areas.”
