Riot Labs has donated £500 to a Northampton children’s charity as part of a promotion with Island Vape.
The partnership saw 50p for each Riot Squad shortfill and 25p for every Riot Squad Salt sold donated to Northampton charity, KidsAid.
The promotion ran throughout November at Island Vape’s Northampton, Corby and Billing stores.
A total of £250 was raised across the three stores, with Riot Labs doubling their contribution to £500.
Riot Labs CEO, Ben Johnson said:
“KidsAid does such an amazing job supporting children and young people to lead healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives.
“Especially at this time of year it’s great to get involved with Island Vape to support their good work.”
KidsAid provides therapeutic support to children and young people who have suffered trauma.
The charity uses a range of creative therapies to help 3 to 18-year-olds overcome and manage conditions such as anxiety, behaviour problems and attachment issues.
These traumas can stem from bereavement, bullying, domestic violence, neglect and physical or sexual abuse.
Riot Labs announced last week that they had received a PMTA acceptance letter from the FDA.
The letter confirmed that the submitted products met the statutory and regulatory requirements for a PMTA submission, based on Section 910 of the FD&C Act.
The application is now under preliminary scientific review ahead of a substantive review by the FDA.
