Let’s face it, this is an industry dominated by men. But the women of this industry should never be underestimated.

In a 2016 study on adult smoking habits in the UK, researchers found a higher proportion of men were current e-cigarette users (6.3%) compared with women (4.9%).

The study also showed men were,

“more likely to have tried an e-cigarette or been an e-cigarette user in comparison with women.”

Social media is where the women in this industry have an abundance of influence, with female brand ambassadors teaming up with some of the biggest companies manufacturers all over the world, spreading their smoking cessation stories and tips in doing so.

In honour of International Women’s Day 2019, here are just some of the women paving the way for the international industry.

Come on girls, we’ve got a lot of work to do!
