In this review, we take a look at the Moti X Mini pod system and some of the available pre-filled pod flavours for the device.

The Moti X Mini’s stubby, cylindrical shape makes it stand out from the crowd and it is available in several different finishes, all of which are transparent, revealing the inner electronics.
This gives it a futuristic look that I love, bringing back nostalgic memories of game consoles from the late nineties.
The X Mini has a surprisingly hefty feel that adds an air of quality and sturdiness. It is great that such a small device houses a 1150mAh in-built battery so you can expect to charge it midway through your day, especially if you are a heavy vaper like me.
It is charged via USB C and took about 30-40mins to get it from 0 to 100 percent, so a little while, but it still packs a punch.
True to its slogan, the X Mini is certainly ‘mighty but mini’ and has a defined 10W-29W output. This, paired with the non-leaking pods and intense flavours, makes this kit a reliable and convenient device.
The pods come pre-filled and are discarded when the liquids run out. This is great for users who crave simplicity as there is no need to fill a tank or change coils.
The pods themselves are magnetic and fit snugly into the top of the device. I found the magnets to be strong enough to eliminate any chance of looseness or rattling.
By rotating the pod, whilst connected to the vape, you can fully adjust the airflow and customise the type of inhale you prefer.
Moti x Mini pre-filled pod flavours
The prefilled pods have a unique feature to retain flavour before unboxing: they use a push system to pop the coil to the base of the pod before vaping. This reduces the risk of leaking or causing the flavours to become muted.
The pods I received came in a variety of appealing flavours in 3mg/ml nicotine strength.
Many closed pod systems hover around the 20mg/ml mark, meaning they are suitable for heavy vapers, or heavy smokers looking to quit, but if you prefer low-strength nicotine, then the Moti X Mini pods are a great alternative.
The Moti X Mini also has refillable pods available if you want to choose your own flavour and/or strength, but for now, I’ll take a quick look at some of the pre-filled flavours currently on offer.
Rainbow Fizz
Highly reminiscent of everyone’s favourite, multicoloured sweets, this flavour gave off bright, fruity and bouncy vibes.
With a collection of nostalgic flavours, there is also a strong element of sourness too.
There is also a sugary sense of effervescence that is offset by the sourness that combines into an unmistakable and much-welcomed sweet and sour combination.
Blueberry Raspberry
A delicate and floral flavour, the joining of two different kinds of berries and a touch of menthol is perfect to enjoy on a hot day.
For me, the blueberry was a little more laid back whilst the raspberry seemed a bit more lively and prominent.
With the added hit of menthol,the berries weren initially overtaken by the intense coldness, but as you finish the exhale, they come back in again.
Strawberry Ice Cream
Even prior to vaping, the packaging gave off the distinct and deep aroma of smooth strawberries and rich cream. So, when I began to vape, the flavour was amplified tenfold.
Despite being a dessert flavour, there was an incredibly subtle sweetness to it which worked very well for me.
The addition of a blast of cooling agent created a strangely refreshing and alluring flavour, without the sickly feeling often found in overly sweet e-liquids.
Melon Kiwi
A rich set of exotic fruits, this one will have you wishing you were on a beach somewhere in the tropics.
Instantly there is a soft, delicate but exceedingly juicy combination of melon, mainly honeydew with just a tad of candy-like watermelon.
This interaction was delicious enough on its own, but was compounded by a more dominant and noticeable kiwi that swept the melon notes up.
I really appreciated the complexities in this flavour and with a very minute amount of cooling, the fruitier elements could thrive.
Honey Lemon Fizz
A delicious combo of different tastes, I couldn’t help but be reminded of cough sweets.
It has all the main flavours right there, we have the bright and slightly acidic lemon, then a sweet and incredibly rich golden honey followed by the indisputable, biting blast of coldness.
It flawlessly recreated such a distinguishable and widely-recognised taste. I’m not usually a fan of this flavour combination, but the smoothness was impressive and this actually turned out to be my favourite in this group.
Main pros and cons of the Moti x Mini
Pros
- I really liked that you could get 3mg/ml strength pre-filled pods
- All the flavours were powerful and tasty
- I loved the fact that this kit is semi-transparent
Cons
- Battery life wasn’t as great as I’d like, but this is mainly because I am a heavy vaper
