The XROS 3 is a new release from leading brand VAPORESSO and I can’t tell you how pleased I was to be able to take it for a spin. The entire line has quickly garnered a reputation for reliability, ease of use and, of course, for incredible build quality…and the XROS 3 was absolutely no exception.

This slick addition from Vaporesso just oozed simplicity and practicality, making it the perfect option for day-to-day vaping. It boasted a sleek and understated exterior, which played host to incredible flavour delivery and impressive battery life.
The body of the XROS 3 only had a few noticeable features, including an on/off/fire button, an LED light, an airflow adjustment controller and a USB-C charging port. The device itself held a careful balance between lightweight, user-friendly structure and expertly-crafted hardware…this is something I’ve come to expect from Vaporesso products.
XROS 3 Enclosed Pods
Something that isn’t normally to my taste was the use of enclosed pods, as this means that users are unable to change out the coil.
However, this does have its merits in that it eliminates any confusion and hassle that this would create for inexperienced vapers.
To fill the pod, I simply had to remove the top part and uncover a one-way seal that was an ideal size for most small bottle tops.
Each pod was fully refillable and TPD compliant, having a 2ml capacity that was ideal for pod systems and MTL/RDTL vaping.
For me, the pods lasted a good while and the flavour was incredibly fresh and intense throughout, even as the coil began to falter.
The throat hit was also warm and powerful, even when using a lower strength e-liquid.
Which style of vaping is the XROS 3 used for?
As you’d expect, the XROS 3 worked wonders with MTL (mouth-to-lung) and RDTL (restricted-direct-to-lung) vaping, even letting you adjust the airflow to cater for your preferred method of inhalation.
The XROS 3 makes for a good option for all levels of vapers, but holds up particularly well for those wishing to convert from a typical disposable set up.
You can expect improved levels of warm, intense and full tasting flavours with this device, plus it also gives users the chance to choose their preferred flavours and nicotine strengths.
What is the battery life like on the XROS 3?
The XROS 3 featured a hefty 1,000mAh battery that easily lasted a full day’s worth of vaping…though Vaporesso say the device can run for 48 hours on a single charge.
It also used a subtle LED light to indicate battery level and I found charging time to be around an hour from 0-100 percent.
Overall, I was completely blown away by the XROS 3, even when comparing it to its earlier iteration – the original XROS.
The flavour was unbelievably well rounded and consistent, the throat hit was satisfying and, as a moderate to heavy vaper, I found the battery life to be on point.
I think this is definitely one to look out for.
